About SUD-LAB

Sustainable urban development laboratory (SUD-LAB) is a research project funded under the Fifth Framework Programme - Key Action 4: City of Tomorrow and Cultural Heritage (KA4) of the European Commission.

SUD-LAB is a web portal for information on sustainable urban development (SUD) in Europe that aims to support the work of urban managers and to promote the work and research being carried out by other Key Action 4 projects.

SUD-LAB consists of a variety of tools including national and city level indicator applications; compilations on the key global, European and national level policies driving the objectives of SUD; and a database of tools, methodologies, case studies, networks, resources and approaches that have been applied and developed to help address the issues of SUD.

SUD-LAB is a research project supported by the European Commission under the Fifth Framework Programme  and contributing to the implementation of the Key Action 4 within Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development.  GHK is the Principal Contractor. Its contractor partner is Eurocities. Specialist web development is provided by mediasterling.
